We3 tries hard to connect you to the people that you are most likely to get along with. We take into account decades of research into the psychology and sociology of friendship and compatibility. However, despite the contribution social science has made on our understanding, it has been unable to conduct controlled experiments that allow us to isolate individual factors and their contribution to friendship quality.

We3 mixes social science with computer science, by using an algorithm that considers over 150 individual characteristics when deciding who to connect. And thanks to machine learning, we are able to continually improve the predictive validity of our algorithm’s decisions.
