Decisive, hard-working, and organized, the Supervisor has a clear sense of right and wrong, a commitment to regulations, and a strong sense of discipline. However, you are governed by your emotions as much as by your rationality, so you can find yourself angry or hurt when people and situations don’t follow the rules.
If the filing system at the office has disintegrated, if the toilet roll hasn’t been changed, or if somebody parked their car in the wrong spot again, your whole day is going to be thrown off. Structures and orders exist for a reason, and how are you supposed to complete all of your tasks when everyone around you is making mess, creating clutter, and ignoring very obvious rules?
People might try to change your mind, or to suggest new ways of thinking or of doing things, but this is just annoying. You’ve had the same coffee order your entire life, have no interest in out-of-the-box technologies that create more problems than they solve, and won’t let anything get in the way of your daily checklist.
If people don’t like your opinion, that’s fine: there’s nothing like a good quarrel, and besides, you are usually right. You’ve perfected a routine that works for you, and you don’t want other people butting in and trying to change it. People might have let you down before, but even if they haven’t, you worry that, eventually, they might.
