Has COVID-19 changed your policies?
COVID-19 has only increased the need for social connection. However, we strongly encourage all users to be responsible and adhere to the latest public health guidelines when meeting in person — for the safety of everyone.
Is We3 safe? How are my fans protected?
Meeting new people in groups of 3 is always safer than meeting 1-on-1. We3 also has strict policies around account authenticity which block scammers and other violators even before they can match. Any individual caught breaking our terms is swiftly terminated from the platform.
What about privacy? Do you sell my fans’ data?
We3 takes privacy very seriously. There are no ads on We3, and we neither sell our users’ data nor track them across sites and services. We3 is also deliberate about protecting its business model from ever coming into conflict with our users’ expectation of privacy.
How does We3’s revenue sharing work?
Anyone who creates a We3 account from your page will be marked as your fan. When your fans make purchases or subscribe to paid plans, 100% of the revenue will be shared with you or sent to the charity of your choice. Payouts can be processed monthly or every $1,000 U.S. Dollars.
How does We3 make money?
We3 makes money through premium subscriptions from users who come from non-revenue-sharing channels (e.g. word of mouth, organic search). We3 does not show ads or sells users’ personal information or metadata.
How does the matching algorithm work?
We3’s matching algorithm uses social science and machine learning to connect groups of 3 people who are highly likely to get along. It is informed by hundreds of discrete factors across six main categories (personality, lifestyle, demographics, beliefs & values, goals & motives, and in-app behavior).
So each fan will be matched to one group?
No. Users on We3 can each belong to multiple groups of 3.
What if I don’t have enough fans in a city?
We3 will invite them to match with other compatible users nearby. They will also have the option to connect with fans in neighboring cities or around the world. This does not affect our revenue-sharing policies.
